Hydra-Capsule was established in 1987, and have been operational for over 30 years. The company was originally founded by Colin Davies who has a vast knowledge of 40 years’ experience within the civil and construction sector regarding the temporary propping, hydraulic jacking and flat jacking.
The company started in a small garage building and has developed its core values to be established as one of the market leading within jacking and propping system. To now be operation from 1.25 acre privately owned premises top accommodate all our customers and company needs.
The family owned company is operated with Colin’s two sons and group of long-term experienced team member to along the company has gradually gained a reputation for innovative solutions, quality and safety for the heavy lifting, monitoring and jacking systems.
Our services have gradually developed up to 30 years of practical experience, such as, hydraulic jacking, consisting of hydraulic cylinders, flat jacks, heavy lifting and sliding to all temporary propping solutions and complex synchronised units with real-time and remote structural monitoring.
Hydra-Capsule operate a complete contractual service, which is fully in-house, from manufacturing of hydraulic cylinders and flat jacks, to bespoke jacking products and monitoring systems;

Our company carries the largest stock of approximately 2,000 fully tested hydraulic jacks, flat jacks and temporary propping equipment which enable bridge bearing replacement works, structural lifting or lowering and pre-loading applications, available for hire, sales or bespoke systems.
In addition, we are able to offer and supply a comprehensive range of pumping and pressurising equipment which includes hoses, control manifolds, hydraulic accessories, pumps ranging from hand operated, electric and fully synchronised control systems.
We offer complete products and services throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe with our own competent hydraulic jacking Engineers we also include the design and installation of temporary propping systems.
Hydra Capsule offer multi-purposed temporary propping solutions for contractual services to construction, civil engineering and demolition industries.
We are recommended installers of temporary works from the all the main temporary support manufacturers from needling supports, aluminium slab supports, façade retention, excavation groundshoring, back-propping, and to complex heavy duty bridge propping and hydraulic jacking systems;
