Hydraulic jacking equipment is a very accurate and safe method of lifting and moving heavy structures,  however, special care must be taken when selecting, setting-up and operating the equipment, the ideal working range should be about 75% of the capacity.  Hydra-Capsule Ltd, recommend for the safe use of our equipment that you:

Place jacks on a even, solid and level base, preferably using steel spreader plates bedded on a high strength grout or mortar.

Ensure that the load is fully and evenly spread over the ram and base,  never edge load the ram or cylinder.

 
       
     

ALWAYS

Use steel spreader plates when the load is bearing against concrete, check that the bearing pressure does not exceed the capacity of the materials been loaded.
